About Teighlor Made Co.
Hello! I'm the force behind Teighlor Made Co., an Orlando, FL based illustration and chainstitch embroidery studio. I specialize in two things:
a) Lost in time illustrations that take inspiration in the stories that surround us.
b)Custom chainstitch embroidery work and live chainstitch embroidery services for your corporate event, brand activation, or party.
Each and every piece you see on the website is embroidered on an antique Singer 114w103 or a Consew 104-T chainstitch embroidery machine.
Between the late 1800s- early 1900s and 1970s, single thread chainstitch embroidery machines were how companies used to create everything from bowling shirts to western wear and even the letter patches on a varsity jacket. The design is traced onto the garment, then hand stitched by a person using the handle below the table to “draw” with the thread and create the design on the garment.
